Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has explained that he is not yet in the same football level with Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Belgian has been compared with these two stars, but Hazard stated clearly that he is only trying to reach the level of Ronaldo and Messi.

Presently, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are considered as the greatest football stars of all time.

"It is good to be compared with the best in the world, Messi and Ronaldo. But I am different and we play in different Leagues, I try to do my job.

"I try to reach that level, their level, and so every season I try to do my best.

"When you play in this kind of game you need to perform because if you want to be one of the best, you need to play well in big games and this is a big game, so let’s go for it.

"Every game I try to play my best football for my club Chelsea.

"Last season we didn’t play in the Champions League, but this year we are back in it and I played good games away and at home against Atletico Madrid,'' Hazard was quoted by Daily Star UK.

Eden Hazard will have the chance to face Lionel Messi on Tuesday night as Chelsea will host Barcelona in the Champions League tie.

Messi and Hazard will be the two stars to watch out for at Stamford Bridge considering their superb form this season.

But Lionel Messi have never scored a goal against Chelsea and he will want to break that record.
